ROLE SUMMARY:
As Senior Accountant, you’ll manage the accounting and general ledger functions for a portfolio of company subsidiaries, producing and analyzing accurate monthly and annual financial statements. This role demands a proactive professional with strong communication, technical, organizational, and analytical skills, who can effectively represent the CFO’s office. Excellent follow-through, a sense of urgency, and meticulous attention to detail are essential. Backed by private equity, Unleashed Brands is achieving substantial growth through a combination of organic expansion and targeted acquisitions.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assume full responsibility for subsidiary general ledgers and the monthly close, overseeing transaction verification, allocation, posting, reconciliation, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively gather information across departments and present financial results to management.
Develop and maintain accurate balance sheet account schedules, making adjusting journal entries as needed.
Prepare and deliver detailed analyses of subsidiary financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, etc.) to management and auditors.
Collaborate across accounting functions (AP, AR, Treasury, etc.) and throughout the organization to ensure accurate presentation and accounting of all items.
Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality in all duties and proactively utilizes experience to take initiative.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
4 years of full-cycle accounting, utilizing best practices.
Advanced Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams skills.
Thrives in a dynamic and innovative environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and streamlining processes
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to see the big picture while having a high regard for the details.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP beneficial.
Strong work ethic, self-starter with strong initiative.
