Overview
Senior Director, Hotel Finance Onboarding plays a pivotal role in executing comprehensive onboarding and training programs for finance professionals within hotel operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for developing talent, managing effective teams, and enhancing Hotel Finance operations.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key areas:
Developing and maintaining an understanding of all business areas, its processes and supporting functions as it relates to the hotel finance ecosystem
Developing and leading a highly effective team tasked with onboarding of the hotels into Finance Ecosystem
Ensuring timely execution of transition activities
Maintaining transparent status reporting for each property onboarding using available tools (SmartSheets, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.)
Provide feedback and guidance on design and implementation of effective onboarding programs for new finance team members, ensuring smooth integration into hotel finance operations
Assist with developing and update training materials, modules, and resources to enhance the skills and knowledge of finance personnel
Collaborate with multiple departments to create effective and efficient onboarding process and deliver exceptional results
Creating and managing Finance Onboarding team budget
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, management, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus)
Strong understanding of financial processes, systems, control environments, and emerging technologies, as well as hospitality industry knowledge
Knowledge of Oracle ERP, TM1, BirchStreet, Blackline preferred
Proven track record of successfully leading billable teams
Strong leadership and management skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision making
