Digital marketing company headquartered in downtown Dallas is adding to their growing accounting group.  The Senior Accountant reports directly to the Assistant Controller and is a vital part of generating and managing the financial statements for the company and its subsidiaries.

Role Overview: Senior Accountant

Step into this Senior Accountant role and you’ll not only oversee general ledger activities and prepare intricate journal entries, but you’ll also be the driving force behind the monthly client billing and collection processes. You’ll engage in a range of activities including:

• Performing thorough reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
• Managing the review of employee expense reports.
• Acting as a key liaison with clients, handling billing queries, discussing overages, and setting up projects.
• Leading the charge in identifying and implementing process and system enhancements.
• Creating and updating accounting SOPs, ensuring best practices are always in play.

Candidate Profile: Senior Accountant

We’re looking for a strong Senior Accountant who brings not just skills, but passion and innovation to our team. Your background should include:

• A Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of hands-on accounting experience in a dynamic, fast-paced professional setting.
• A strong command of ERP systems, with NetSuite experience being a significant plus.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP. A CPA qualification is not mandatory, but certainly a valued asset.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities, top-notch organizational and time management skills.
• A meticulous, detail-oriented approach, combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A high level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
