Role Overview: Senior Staff Accountant

• Reconcile monthly revenue and provide insightful analyses to the Director of Finance and key management.
• Manage monthly expenses, ensuring accuracy in credit card fees, chargebacks, and banking fees.
• Play a crucial role in income reporting, meeting weekly deadlines with precision.
• Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations for designated accounts.
• Proactively communicate and follow up on any discrepancies noted during reconciliations.
• Liaise with External Auditors, preparing necessary documentation.
• Scrutinize financial statements, ensuring accuracy and raising alerts for any anomalies.
• Delegate and oversee financial tasks within the accounting team.
• Lead, train, and support the accounting team, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Juggle multiple projects effectively, demonstrating your organizational prowess.

Candidate Profile: Senior Staff Accountant

• A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience, with a preference for those with a background in hospitality or hotel finance.
• Proficiency in A/R, with a strong command of Oracle, Excel, and Word.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in managing a team.
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
