What you’ll be doing:

We are seeking a highly motivated Staff (or Senior) Accountant to grow right alongside this new venture. Working independently of the parent company’s accounting department, you will be reporting directly to the owner and be responsible for all accounting aspects plus financial and operational analysis – this is your opportunity to do it all! Additionally, this is an opportunity to be mentored by somebody who has successfully grown a very large company and you’ll have high exposure to many people throughout the organization. You will not be parked behind a desk – this is a chance to make a real difference.

As the lead accounting member, you’ll get up to speed quickly on the day to day accounting functions. The new operation possess the growth potential for you to develop this business and to eventually lead an accounting team – a team that you will design and build. We’re not looking for any ordinary Senior Accountant, we’re looking for someone with a little entrepreneurial spirit!

Requirements and preferences:

  • Proven accounting experience in a fast paced organization (preference to those with 2-4 years and a bachelor’s degree in accounting);
  • Intelligence and the ability to innovate;
  • Excellent team-building, leadership and communication skills across all levels of an organization;
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under multiple deadlines and changing priorities;
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, and goal oriented;
  • Self-assurance, disposition to action;
  • Integrity, character and work ethic of the highest levels;
